Youth Challenge

 

We ARE family. But what does that mean to you? Select any (or all) of the following for the youth challenge. Please submit entries to gmbreunion@gmail.com with the youth’s name and age by Saturday, July 22nd at 7pm to be considered.

 

1. Find an older relative and ask them some questions. What was their childhood like? What did they do for fun? How did they live without cell phones, TVs, and email?

2. Write a poem about what family means to you.

3. Draw a picture of your family (include your pets too!).

4. Create a social media video about your family using the hashtag #gmb2023.

5. Trace one hand of each person in your family to make a “family circle.” Design however you like!

6. Write about the family member you love spending time with at the reunion and why.
